Jack and the Beanstalk.
Once upon a time, in the age of magic, there lived a boy called Jack. He and his mother owned a little farmhouse and they were extremely poor. Their only possession was a cow called Daisy. One day, Jack was sent to the market to sell Daisy. Unhappily, he walked and he walked and he walked.
After a while, he met an old man, bent almost double, wearing ragged clothes. The old man offered to swap Daisy for five magical beans. Happily, Jack returned home but his mother called him a fool! She threw the beans out of the window. How could he be so stupid?
When Jack awoke the next morning, he found an enormous beanstalk disappearing beyond the clouds. At once, he saw the chance for adventure! So, he climbed and he climbed and he climbed. Above the clouds, he found a different world. He crept towards a huge castle where a giant lived and found a goose that laid golden eggs. Suddenly, Jack heard a loud voice…
FEE, FI, FO, FUM!
Jack snatched the goose and fled. Quickly, he scrambled down the beanstalk as the giant chased after him. At the bottom, Jack grabbed an axe and chopped the beanstalk down. The giant fell to his death!
Jack and his mother always had enough money because of their famous golden goose.
