Class 3SC won most improved class for daily readers this week! It has taken a while to hit our target of 20 out of 30 daily readers but we got there. Biscuits were munched in celebration, now we have to keep it up and the new target is 25! If we reach that I will teach maths in a bear suit… If you want a maths teaching bear get to reading your books over half term and record it in your reading records. Have a great half term and practice Stone Age Boy. An amazing thing happened to Peter. He was wandering in the woods when he tripped and fell down, down down.
This weeks writing challenge is to describe riding your bike down this mountain. How would you feel excited or scared? What was it like riding down the twisted rocky slope? Did you make it down in one piece? Try to make your writing exciting by using an exclamation mark and don’t forget your Capital Letters and Full stops. Choose your words carefully and write up to 5 sentences. Good luck! Here’s the link to the youtube as well http://youtu.be/xQ_IQS3VKjA
The children are going to post their thoughts in the comments below. Have a read and see what they have been learning about.
A huge thank you from all of the class for all of our lovely visitors and for the kind messages we have received so far.
Our Cob oven building is underway. We had an assembly with Charlotte who has taught us about the materials that we need to build our Cob oven. We are going outside to dig up the grass and get ready to design our Cob ovens.
