Yesterday, we celebrated Black History Month with a Caribbean food cooking session and looking at Caribbean flags. The children really enjoyed cooking and the food tasting. We cooked jerk chicken and plantain.
What was your favourite part of the day? Can you describe what the food tasted like? What shapes could you find in your favourite Caribbean flag?
On Wednesday 20th September we visited Gressenhall workhouse in Dereham to learn about life 5000 years ago. We participated in 4 activities Neolithic farming, building shelters, treasure hunt and hunting and gathering. The children were researching the skills and knowledge they would need to travel back in time to neolithic Britain.
